Description:

The chromosomes have been considered as the physical bases of heredity. A chromosome is a thread-like self-replicating genetic structure containing organized DNA molecule package found in the nucleus of the cell.

Different organisms have different numbers of chromosomes. But Normally all individual of a species have the same chromosome number.
