Opioid Analgesics and Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs
Description:
Analgesic Drugs are the drugs which relieve pain. Primarily Analgesics divided into two categories are
- Narcotic or Opioid Analgesics
- Non Narcotic Analgesics or Non Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAID).
Beside Analgesic effect NSAID drugs have Anti-Inflammatory and Antipyretic effect also. So NSAID drugs are reduces mild pain & headache, decreases fever and high doses decreases inflammation.
