Description:
Computer networking also refers to connecting computers to share
data, application software and hardware devices. The
network can be classified into LAN (Local Area Network), MAN (Metropolitan Area Network ) and
WAN ( Wide Area Network).
The internet is a massive wide area network, connecting thousands of computer networks around
the world. The internet is a world wide “network of networks”.
The e-mail stands for electronic mail. One of the major features of computer networking is that
messages can be sent electronically to various terminals on the network.
